Rachel Whipple is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a mother of five children. She received her Master’s degree from the University of Hawaii in 2012 and dual undergraduate degrees in Social Work and Criminal Justice from Messiah College. Upon receiving her master’s degree she immediately began working with children and families. Rachel spent five years working with Hale Kipa and the Department of Health as an Intensive In Home therapist. Before that Rachel worked as a case manager with youth aging out of foster care for five years. Rachel has a passion for working with young people and families, as well as anyone experiencing anxiety or depression.

Some of the evidenced based practices Rachel utilizes are Play Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Family Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (Mindfulness, Radical Acceptance, Emotion Regulation, and Distress Tolerance) and Gottman Couples Therapy. Rachel believes strongly in the power of attachment and relationship.
